Terms & Conditions

1. Tuition Sessions

  • Duration: Standard sessions are 30 minutes. Bespoke durations are available upon request.

  • Location: Sessions occur weekly at a fixed time, either online or at my home.

  • Preparation: All materials are provided. Group sessions are designed for the collective benefit of the cohort, while 1:1 sessions are entirely bespoke to the individual learner.

2. Fees & Payment

  • Advance Payment: Fees must be paid by the end of each month for the following month’s sessions.

  • Late Payment: If payment is not received by the stated deadline, sessions will be suspended. The student’s space may be offered to families on the waiting list.

  • Termination: Persistent late payments may lead to the permanent termination of services.

3. Absences & Cancellations

  • 1:1 Sessions: In cases of sickness, please provide as much notice as possible. While I will endeavor to rearrange the session where my schedule allows, refunds or credits are not guaranteed.

  • Group Sessions: Due to fixed running costs, refunds or catch-up sessions cannot be provided for individual absences (including sickness).

  • Planned Absences: A minimum of 2 weeks’ notice is required for any planned absences (holidays, appointments, etc.). Notice must be provided before the next month's invoice is issued to avoid being charged.

4. Late Arrival

  • Sessions will begin and end at their allotted times. If a student arrives late, the session will not be extended.

  • If the lead facilitor is responsible for a late start, the missed time will be made up at a mutually agreed time or a pro-rata refund will be issued.

5. Notice Period & Changes

  • Should you wish to discontinue sessions or request a permanent change to your day/time, a minimum of 2 weeks' notice in writing is required. This allows the vacancy to be advertised and filled promptly.

6. Data Protection & GDPR

We take your family’s privacy seriously. Personal data is collected for:

  • Administration: Managing bookings, registers, and emergency contacts.

  • Child Safety: Being aware of medical needs or allergies.

  • Communication: Essential updates regarding sessions and invoicing.

  • Marketing (Optional): We may request to share photos/videos of activities for community marketing. This is subject to a separate opt-in consent.

Your Rights: Your data is stored securely and will never be sold. You have the right to access, amend, or request the deletion of your data at any time (subject to legal safeguarding requirements).
